Oscar was not part of dream-in-a-dream

The 83rd Annual Academy Awards ceremony slated to happen on 27th February, will have Anne Hathaway and James Franco as it’s hosts. From the video promo of “Hosts in Training” on the Oscar site, you would have an anticipation of planned humor and smart-alec quips for the grand finale.

The Oscar nominee list is out and Leonardo DiCaprio yet again misses out on an Oscar nomination after his performance in “Inception”. However, the movie itself bagged 8 nominations (mostly in technical categories) this year preventing a repeat of the Dark Knight snubbing for Inception. Surprisingly the one of the highest media and public buzz generating movie director, Christopher Nolan, finds himself absent from the Best Director nomination list.

Here is some food for thought on Inception and theories around why the movie might not get the accolades that it deserves.

Leonardo has been quite selective with his films and has put in some stellar performances in the past in movies like Shutter Island, Body of Lies, Blood Diamond, The Departed, Catch Me If You Can and many more.
