Twitter vs Facebook

The micro-blogging site Twitter seems to have taken the world by storm just like Facebook had a few years back. Facebook just created waves by surpassing the Google for the amount of time spent by people on the Internet on a particular site. Apparently people spend more time on Facebook than they do on Google doing searches or using it’s plethora of free services like YouTube, GMail etc. Let’s wait and watch if Twitter manages to displace FB with just a feature of updating status messages within 140 characters which people have managed to revolutionize into sharing content, running communities, updating half the world about an upcoming event, networking and I could go on……

I normally don’t Retweet non-technology related Tweets on Twitter but this made it on the list of ReTweets due to the sheer comparison brilliance:

Facebook is for people you went to school with. Twitter is for people you wished you went to school with.
