Is ICC hiding something from us?

Twenty nine cricketers, including two Australians are suspected to be involved in spot-fixing at last year’s Indian Premier League in South Africa, a leading London newspaper claimed on Sunday.

Well, it does look like ICC knows something that we don’t or this is another piece of sensationalistic journalism which will amount to a lot of hue and cry but without any substance. This has become one of the TOP 3 news items for the leading news channels in the country as this nation considers the sport as an alternate form of religion. The article on Zee News website points out that there might be an involvement of 29 players who were involved in spot-fixing. Why was no further action or investigation done in this regard and why such a report remained as a “secret dossier” is open to speculation and all the new channels are spinning yarns around their concocted theories. Let’s see what the world governing body i.e. ICC has to say about this. If the contents of this report are true, then we are opening another Pandora’s box for IPL which has it’s share of controversies and problems. Tags: ,,
